There is an argument of when exactly midcentury falls in. I personally love to think of the year’s being from the 1940s to mid 1960’s, but to be fair, I also love furniture from the 1920’s to 1970’s. The more you do your research, the more you discover amazing pieces from various decades.
In this article, I will be just listing furniture examples, from a few great companies that produce great retro reproduction furniture. Of course you can just go hunting for authentic old vintage furniture. It is not always easy to find and in good condition is not easy. Some midcentury furniture is not alway’s comfortable and the luxury of a spend, on new comfortable mid century repro is just too irresistible to resist sometimes. 🙂
