RETROSPEC’D ARE MAKERS OF VINTAGE-INSPIRED DRESSES AND FASHION
The idea was as simple and wholesome as the vintage fashion that inspired it: everyone deserves to have a fabulous dress – no matter their age, size, or the decade in which they’re living.
That philosophy – as well as an exuberant love for the vintage style of years gone by – has informed the hard work of sisters Sharon Hanley and Teena Borg. Retrospec’d is the fruit of their labour of love.
Drawing on their own vast collection of vintage and retro dresses – including 1940s and 50s dresses – Sharon and Teena aim to produce retro fashion and dresses that will make you feel fantastic when you’re wearing them. This means not only a fun style, but also a fantastic fit.
All Retrospec’d garments are made in Australia to the very highest standard. The majority of the fabrics themselves are the product of many months spent finding colours and design elements that are “just right”.
